This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes the information collection procedures and use of information by Kimiko Beauty with respect to data collected via the Website.  This Policy does not apply to information we collect through other resources. Certain information is collected when you make a purchase or sign up for email

While we collect credit card information from you in order to facilitate your purchases, the credit card transaction is administered by a third party payment processor, and we do not maintain your credit card information within our own computer systems.  We do collect individually-identifiable personal information ("Personal Data") that you provide to us such as your name, e-mail address, and date of birth.  You supply us this Personal Data when you purchase something and/or take some other action to voluntarily supply your Personal Data to us, such as signing up for e-mail.  Kimiko Beauty may also use Personal Data for market and consumer studies regarding product types, demographics and consumer preferences.

Certain information is collected automatically, when you visit our website to read or browse through the Website

Kimiko Beauty will collect and store the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet, the browser software and operating system of your computer, the Internet protocol (IP) address of your computer and the Internet address of the site from which you linked directly to Kimiko Beauty's site. While it may be possible to correlate this information to particular individuals, we do not generally do so, and we limit our use of this information to its aggregate form reflecting all visitors to the Website. We may use IP addresses and anonymous demographic information in the aggregate to share with advertisers and market researchers, and to improve the design of our Website so as to better serve our customers.  We do not drill down into anonymous demographic information in order to analyze and/or collect personal information from these sources. The Website is not intended for children under the age of 13, and Kimiko Beauty does not intentionally collect Personal Data from children under 13.  If you have reason to believe that we have collected Personal Data from someone under 13 years of age, please let us know.

The Website is located in the United States and all information collection and practices are governed by the laws of the United States.  While we attempt to protect the personal information of all users of the Website, if you are unsure whether this Policy is in conflict with the applicable local rules where you are located, you should not submit your personal information to the Website.  In addition, if you are located within the European Union, you should note that your information will be transferred to the United States, the laws of which may be deemed to have inadequate data protection.
